In Sorrow of Mercy Nigerian movie, Jim Iyke had impregnated ChaCha Eke but refuse to marry her. Chiwetala Agu, being the father of ChaCha Eke gave Jim Iyke an ultimatum of 7 days to perform the marriage rights of his daughter or something will happen. Jim Iyke refused to honor Chiwetalu's request, calling it a bluff. Therefore, after 7 day, Jim Iyke became pregnant and was also confirmed by a medical doctor.

We have to admit, Jim Iyke played the role of a pregnant man quite well in the film "Sorrows of Mercy"; which is brought to you by Holy Cup Production Ltd.

"Two best friends are determined to make a way out of poverty and have no qualms about using others to do so, but they soon learn that such heartlessness comes with dire consequence. Jim Iyke, ChaCha Eke, Walter Anga, Chiwetalu Agu, Jnr Pope."

Already, we gathered via her PR firm Bigsam media that Mercy Johnson is back on location with director and producer, Elvis Chucks and working on a new movie. Accordiing to reports, this would be MJ’s first job after giving birth in December 30th last year.

Many adjusted their schedules for me and sent in their greetings during the child dedication. Or how could I explain the overwhelming votes I got at AMVCA despite been away and inactivity on social media? How could I explain the numbers of producers and scripts waiting for my return? How could I explain the overwhelming love and gifts while I was away? In the past months of Mercy Johnson’s ‘absence’ she gave birth to her first child, Purity, moved into a new mansion with her husband, Prince and won the Best Actress in comedy at the maiden edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Work-wise, she has continued to generate interest as many producers and a couple of corporate organization are in discussion with her for movies and other business. She’s returning on the heels of the record set by Dumebi, the dirty girl, the enviable record of being the highest selling.

She started acting in 2003 with The Maid. She’s been touted to be one of the few method actors around by respected movie director, Lancelot Odua Imasuen.

Chinedu Ikedieze and his dad on Aki's Wedding

Information gathered via Linda Ikeji's blog reports that Aki made the announcement about his dad via Blackberry Messenger in the early hours of today. He said his father died in the evening of May the 18th.

Genevieve is a Nigerian actress who grew up in Lagos the commercial capital of Nigeria. The fourth of eight children, she was brought up in a middle class environment. Her father worked as an engineer and her mother as a teacher.

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo new photos as of May 2013.

For those not too familiar with the beautiful fair skin actress, below is a brief insight into her journey into Nollywood.

Uche Ogbodo, whose full name is Uchenna Joy Ogbodo, hails from Enugu State, and is the second in a family of five. She has been acting since she was a teenager. Her father at one point encouraged her to take acting up as a career by registering her into the Actors Guild of Nigeria in 2006 and have since appeared in over 30 Nigerian movies.

Now, back to Uche Ogbodo's photos. It is apparent that the Enugu born diva's endeavor is to improve her fashion sense and style, while gaining more publicity at the same time. However, it is obvious that the make-up or foundation on her face is too much or looks too heavy on her skin. Her stylist could have done better, don't you think? But that is all based on observation by some of Nigeria Movie Network's team members.

Mercy Johnson married her heartthrob Prince Odi back in August of 2011, in what many regard as one of the biggest Nollywood weddings at that time of the year. Their union was recently blessed with a baby girl named Purity Ozioma Okojie on the 30th of December 2012.

According to reports, Genevieve had to go change into another outfit when she realized she was causing too much stir. Chacha Eke and Austin Faani  (Nollywood newest couple)

Who is Chacha Eke BTW? For those who are yet to know, Chacha Eke is a fast-rising Nollywood actress from Ebonyi State (Nigeria). She has appeared in many Nigerian movies mostly as a sub lead or lead act some of which are The Bank Job, From Grass to Grace, Cleopatra, Royal Challenge, Mirror of Life, Professional Lady, Royal Stronghold, Bridge of Contract, Twins on Fire, Action King, and Innocent Pain.

Barely 2 years into the film industry, Chacha Eke has starred in over 50 Nigerian movies and counting. See a list of some Chacha Eke movies you can watch for free online. 

Austin Faani on the other hand, is still relatively new in the Nigerian film industry but is quickly making his name known. Having directed several Nigerian movies that featured his wife-to-be Chacha Eke including Bank Job, Cleopatra, Action King, King's Secret, Queen's Desire, King's Cult, just to name a few.

We gathered via NigeriaFilms that the traditional wedding of Chacha Eke will take place towards the ending of this month May, followed by a white wedding to take place on June 1st in Asaba, Delta State. More details about the wedding will be published on our network as soon as information becomes available.
