  • Tonto Dikeh Reveals Meaning of Her Tattoo, "Am a Witch" she says

    There is no doubt that since the picture of a tattoo of star Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh was posted online some days ago, it has generated lots of controversies both within and outside the country.

    Many tongues have wagged on the controversial picture. Many different meanings have been read to the piece of photograph. For some, the picture depicts some undertone of the devil, while others see no diabolic meaning to the creature created in the tattoo but just a piece of fashion.

    For this controversy happy queen of Nollywood, who has grown a thick skin to most abusive writings and comments directed to her, she has finally come out to talk on what the meaning of the creature drawn on her back carries, especially with the kind of heat this particular picture has generated.

    According to what this daughter of a top Rivers State politician, who once had the ambition of running for a political seat in that state said, “the tattoo took me 10hours to be done with, while I had a two hour break in-between.”

    Speaking further, when asked if the controversial tattoo had any undertone meaning, she simply answered, “yes, and it is very deep, I am a witch.”

    Though she was not willing to disclose the exact meaning the tattoo has, but information available at our disposal from a very reliable and impeccable source, who is deep into such doings only confirmed to us that only strong people carry such tattoo on their body.

    According to the source, “you cannot see any ordinary human being with this kind of tattoo; this is what I know very much about. Though I am not suppose to say this, I know the society she belongs to, but I am not going to tell you that. If she does not take things easy with herself, she might not like the end of it all, that I assure you of.”

    Tonto has since her 2006 AMBO days seen a very quick rise to fame in the make-believe industry in Nigeria. She is presently in the United States for Damage US tour and she is expected back in Nigeria in some days to come.

    Tonto Dikeh is one of the most controversial Nollywood stars at the moment because of her intriguing lifestyle and personality.

    The controversial actress who has taken front seat in her acting career with her 'i-dont-care-what-anyone-thinks-attitude is in the news again.


    Some days back,Tonto posted a picture of her newest inking on Twitter and the picture has generated lots of comments and arguments among her fans and haters.

    We gathered that this kind of tattoo takes about 12 hours to be completed and costs at least two thousand dollars.

    Nollywood star actress, Tonto Dikeh, is by now enjoying the best of her life as a make-believe queen in the United States of America where she is with her friends and colleagues, Uche Jombo, Kalu Ikeagwu and others for the tour of the movie 'Damage' in the States.

    Tonto Dike had left the shores of this country earlier this month to the United States for that purpose, Damage premiere US tour. Just some weeks back, news had filtered the media of her 57 tattoos on her body, which she was happy with when people read about it.

    Just yesterday, she posted a picture online of her new drawn tattoo, which she did on her back just about two days back in the United States. The picture has been generating comments from her friends on twitter and other social networking sites online.

    In one instance, one of her fans asked why she drew a bigger tattoo on her body (back), she simply replied the fan to get himself killed if he was not happy with her tattoo.

    Hmm, Miss Ikwere lady or Engineer Tonto, that was too harsh to say to a person and from a celeb like you. All the same, your fans care about you, which is why they are concerned about you. As you once said, it is your body and life, no question. Success........

  • Tonto Dike picks on Charles Novia via Twitter

    This was Tonto Dike's controversial tweet on her Twitter account directed at director Charles Nova:

    @tontolet “Dis is 2a dumb azz man + producer+ director Charles Novia or wateva**Itz a matter of we never getting 2 meet cos den u'll knw miii bitch**”


    We don't know the genesis of this matter but anyone can tell that all is not well between beautiful and young fast-rising actress, Tonto Dike and movie and one-time music video producer, Charles Novia.


    Charles Novia has been around Nigeria's entertainment industry for a long time. Tonto on the other hand came into the scene in 2009, three years after she competed in popular talent hunt- Next Movie Star. She emerged first runner up.

    Tonto is currently embroiled in controversy over a sexually explicit role she played in her most recent movie- Dirty Secrets. Whatever issues she has with movie producer Charles Novia, that has warranted such statements on Twitter, including calling herself a bitch, this emerging screen siren may need to slow down and have a rethink. This is still Africa, and elders are to be respected, regardless.
