    News reaching us confirms authoritatively that one of the most eligible spinsters in Nollywood, Uche Jombo, is set to quit spinsterhood to become a married actress.



    Although she has been keeping the date of her marriage and even the man that has stolen her heart secret, we can tell you that contrary to the widely circulated story that she will be alter bound with a popular footballer, the man who wooed her is a US-based business man called Chidi, but his friends call him “Chi Boy”.

    The wedding according to our findings will be coming up in the last quarter of the year.

    According to our source, they both met during one of Uche’s frequent trips to the United States.

    Uche, who is one of the most hardworking actresses in Nollywood told a close pal she will not disclose the identity of the man, or celebrate it until all plans have been concluded.

  • Nollywood's Stephanie Okereke Marries Her Heartthrob Linus Today in Paris

    Nollywood star actress, Stephanie Okereke and her fiance Linus Idahosa, are in Paris today for their marriage. Their wedding is currently taking place at the Abbay des Vaux de Cernay Hotel, in Northern France.

    Richard Mofe Damijo, Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo, Lilian Bach, Ndidi Okereke-Onyiuke, Azuh Amatus are among the delegates from Nollywood gracing Stephanie Okereke's white wedding of actress.

    Other Nollywood stars that were in the guest list include Ini Edo, Monalisa  Chinda, Emem Isong and Kanayo O.Kanayo. Idahosa’s friends and associates in high places are also attending the wedding. Ejike Asiegbu, according to inside source, couldn’t make the trip because of his sister’s health condition.

    Information reaching Nigeria Movie Network indicates that President Goodluck Jonathan is likely to grace the historic wedding with his wife and large entourage.

    According to sources, Stephanie and her fiancee left for Paris early in the week to ensure things are put in place for the big day.

    We learnt via Vanguard newspaper that Arik Air donated a chartered flight to convey those attending the wedding for FREE. Air France also provided seats to invited guests at discounted tickets.

    The multiple award winning actress and filmmaker, who recently bagged the Member of the Federal Republic(MFR) national honour said “it is an intimate wedding.”

    It was a gathering of the who is who in the entertainment industry when star Nollywood actress, Ini Ikpe got hooked and recently tied the knot with her heart throb, Joe Etukudo at a coluouful traditional event which took place at her hometown, Etinan local government area of Akwa Ibom State.


    The tall and elegant actress screen idol drew the cream of Nollywood acts to grace the occasion as they all came out en masse to give her their support.

    A roll call of the crème of entertainment people that graced the marriage include top Nollywood stars Ini Edo, Monalisa Chinda, Emem Isong, Ime Bishop Umoh, Moses Armstrong, and Akwa Ibom top music star,Mish,amongst several others.

    We gathered that the white wedding will take place later in the year in the United States of America.

    It was a gathering of celebrities in showbiz and social circuits as Singer Muma Gee Uwame took to the altar, Nollywood actor Prince Eklips Eke as her lawful wedded husband at a holy matrimony held on Friday 23rd December, 2011 at Recovery House, stadium road , Port Harcourt, Rivers State.


    The joining was coordinated by Reverend Ugochukwu Unachukwu.
