According to A.D.A.M Medical Encyclopedia, a stroke is a medical emergency and immediate treatment can save ones live, including reducing chances of disability.

It is very important for people who are having stroke symptoms to get to a hospital as quickly as possible. If the stroke is caused by a blood clot, a clot-busting drug may be given to dissolve the clot. Unfortunately, Veteran actor Enebeli Elebuwa has been receiving an ineffective form of treatment, which has now made his situation a very critical one.

Most of the time, someone suffering from stroke, must reach a hospital within 3 hours after symptoms begin. Some people may be able to receive the clot-busting drugs for up to 4 - 5 hours after symptoms begin.

Treatment usually depend on how severe the stroke was and what caused it. Most people who have a stroke need to stay in a "real" hospital.

It is important to note that, Nollywood veteran actor Enebeli Elebuwa has been on sick bed for the past six months now, and needs crucial prayers from Nigeria and his fans, because Nollywood may loose one of the best talents in the film industry soon if his health doesn't get any better.

Reports coming from LEADERSHIP source,  says that the health of the talented actor is at the zero point.

When Enebeli initially became ill last year from his family house, the actor was first taken to a Military Hospital in Yaba, Lagos, followed by a trip to a native doctor for traditional healing, before returning to his residence in Lagos. He is said to be receiving herbal treatments, but no improvement has been experienced so far.

A source confirmed to LEADERSHIP that the traditional man is on pay roll of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), but after months of unsuccessful attempts to bring the bulky actor to a normal health , the traditional medicine man (native doctor) who was consulted by AGN executive members and the actor’s family insisted that he will do everything possible to ensure that Mr.Elebuwa will be free from bondage of stroke, but after three months of unsuccessful attempts the native doctor has advised the family and AGN members to take Mr. Elebuwa to his home town in Delta State.

Report coming from sources about Enebeli's health is not bringing any cheerful news at all - as the man is said to be fighting for his life. The traditional man was quoted to have said that, the sickness of the actor was not ordinary - as he has handled issues tougher than that of Enebeli, hence he decided to discuss the issue with Enebeli's brothers who now decided to take him to the village for more proper health care. According to LEADERSHIP, the man left for Delta State on Monday, March 26, 2012.
